shipping and handling

We’ll ship your order via USPS to any of the 50 United States and Canada.

In most cases, we ship your purchase within two business days of the order. Please allow 4-7 business days for delivery. If you wish to expedite shipping, we will be happy to do so. Simply select rush shipping when you check-out.

Shipping is by USPS priority mail. Normal domestic shipping is computed based on the
amount purchased (of the non-sale prices).

Shipments to our Canadian friends will also include a nominal customs charge of $4.usd.

return policy

Returns are subject to our approval because we do our very best, out of the gate, to offer exceptional products. If your shipment arrived damaged or is not as described, please email us to explain your situation and we’ll get right back to you. Any issues must be brought to our attention within 21 days of receipt of your purchase. After that time, we cannot adjust your order. Approved returns result in a store credit.

We use salvaged and repurposed materials. That means they were already produced, distributed or often tagged as land fill. We prefer natural resources and materials to engineered plastics. As the GreenYankee™ community grows, we’ll respond to your feed back and invest in developing products that suit your needs in going green. However, GreenYankee.comʼs primary mission is to provide information about ecosmart people, places, and products that make life simpler. Our selection of distinctive items for sale is purposefully small so that we can control the hand made quality of our products and still offer a GreenYankee™ bargain.
